Executive Director

At your core, you believe that everyone has the right to direct their own life. You understand that each person is born with value and rights. You genuinely care about people, and want nothing more than to see those around you not only succeed, but thrive in what they do. You know that takes effort and team work, and you are eager to round up the necessary players to get the task completed.

You like to communicate with people - on the phone, in person and in group settings. You are clear in how you present information and are open to clarifying questions. You are self-motivated and organized. You are professional and well respected.

People naturally look to your example, and trust you. You have a successful track record as the "go to" person. You are willing to do your research, because you like to know rules and processes. People call you dependable, reliable and consistent. Being able to share what you know and help others learn what you have figured out excites you. You know what quality work looks like and, more importantly, you expect everyone around you to strive to achieve that level. Yet, you know how to encourage and motivate others - guiding them towards your standards.

You are able to see the big picture - understanding how the system works and the reasons why it works the way it does. You enjoy "strategy sessions" as well as workgroup and committee environments. You see problems as challenges - creatively looking at those situations and problem-solving solutions is fun for you.
