Key tasks of the Executive Director:
Work with the Board of Directors
to oversee organizational operations.
Provide input and guidance to the organization's mission and strategic plan, and implements
both according the Board's decisions.
Ensure the integrity of the organization's financial management.
Ensure thorough quality assurance measures are in place for all organizational activities.
Responsible for the hiring, firing, retention and termination decisions of the organization.
Ensures proper accountability of organization to all state and federal laws and regulations.

We are looking for someone with these skills and qualifications:
A bachelor degree in a Human Service Related field with at least 5
years of relevant managerial experience in the IDD field is preferred. Minimum qualifications require at least
a bachelor degree in a Human Service Related field, Education, or Management with 3 years experience managing projects in the IDD field.
Thorough knowledge of case management principles and the Oregon IDD service system.
Demonstrated commitment to self-determination and personalized
support, with at least 2 years of experience in person-centered
planning and support approaches.
Demonstrated knowledge of standard business practices - budgeting, financial management and personnel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (bilingual abilities are a plus)
Capable with computers.
Professionalism in both attitude and appearance.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while
working under multiple deadlines.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
Reliable transportation, good driving record and ability to attend meetings in various locations.
